Dolphin Browser’s new Dolphin Engine is the fastest HTML5 mobile browser out there!

Dolphin Browser, which is my favorite mobile web browser and the most popular third-party browser on Android and iOS, keeps getting better. The new thing, though still in beta, is the whole new Dolphin Engine that makes for the fastest browsing experience around, rendering HTML5 up to 5-10 times faster than the default browser on Android. Moreover, the new engine is also said to be 100% faster than Chrome at times, scoring more than 450 points on HTML5test.com.

Dolphin was able to achieve this remarkable accomplishment through extensive canvas improvements, with particular attention to canvas element, 2D context and text. In addition, Dolphin Engine made significant GPU technology improvements around GPU accelerated canvas rendering and optimized CPU/GPU parallel computing.
