Good news for tech-savvy fashionistas in Germany and Italy as LG has started rolling out Ice Cream Sandwich update for its LG Prada 3.0 smartphone. The new firmware brings a number of features to the mix, including resizable widgets, new lock screen actions, quick responses for incoming calls, better voice input engine, improved camera app and so on. In addition, I would assume some other LG-specific apps have been updated though I can’t really comment on it since I haven’t been able to try out the Prada Android smartphone myself.

Unfortunately though, this isn’t the over-the-air update and you’ll rather have to rely on the LG Mobile Phone Support tool to get the latest software. That doesn’t sound that harsh and is well worth the effort.

Finally, it’s fair to argue that after Germany and Italy, the rest of Europe and the world will follow shortly. I doubt we’ll be talking about the Prada 3.0 updates anymore, so you better check from time to time whether there’s a new software waiting for download…
