Microsoft has already picked a number of partners for the Windows Phone 8 launch, including Nokia, HTC, Samsung, Huawei, Acer, ZTE and Lenovo. However, that’s just the initial list with more companies likely to join the party next year.
Among those new companies may be Oppo, which we know for their super-thin Oppo Finder, Android Ice Cream Sandwich smartphone. The everything-but-official information comes from WPDang, which also prepared the mockup image above.
Now we like that more companies will make Windows Phones, but are still not sure Microsoft will be able to compete with Google and Apple. The Redmond giant definitely has the cash needed to keep pushing its mobile platform forward, but so do other two contenders. One thing is certain – interesting times are ahead and we look forward to see increased competition bringing us even more options to choose from. 😉
