Modern version of Murphy’s law clearly states that whenever you need a USB cable to connect or charge your mobile phone, you don’t have one around. Enter ChargeCard, a new accessory that is killing it at Kickstarter as we speak. Their product, as the name says, is a credit card-sized device that has a USB port on one end, and Apple’s 30-pin or microUSB connector on the other. It’s that simple and it’s just 0.1-inch (2.54mm) thick so it can easily fit any wallet. Heck you can even store it underneath many iPhone cases.
ChargeCard’s body is made from durable ABS plastic and its foldout USB arm is made of a flexible thermoplastic elastomer. This in turn allows you to use it with large and bulky cases like those made by OtterBox…
Sure enough, you do want to get yourself the ChargeCard. It starts at $20 and you can secure your unit from this page at Kickstarter’s website. It’s available in black, white or teal on brown; plus there’s also the Limited Edition “Birds on Wire.”
