Today Sharp reported less than stellar numbers, but to end its earnings report on a high note, it decided to contribute to the Apple iPhone rumor mill. One of the Japanese manufacturer’s top executives decided to spill the beans on the next iPhone, saying the company is making the displays, and plans to ship them out this month. Now this matches perfectly with the latest rumor suggesting a mid-September announcement of the new iPhone. So, all the stars seem to be in line for all of these leaks we’ve received in the past few weeks, many which suggest the iPhone will debut with a 4-inch screen, 19-pin connector piece, and thinner body.
