Motorola loves a good collab, and apparently so do its customers. According to Android Authority, leaked renders of a Swarovski Edition Motorola Razr 2026 have surfaced, giving us our first proper look at what could be the most extra flip phone of the year. Again.
This isn’t Motorola’s first time down this road. The 2025 Razr lineup was packed with limited special editions, including a FIFA World Cup Edition, a Paris Hilton Edition, and yes, a Swarovski Edition covered in crystal-like studs. That last one sold for $999. So Motorola clearly sees a market for premium, fashion-forward variants of its foldable, and the Swarovski partnership is apparently worth repeating.
The 2026 version looks very familiar. The back panel has that same quilted texture covered in small crystal-like studs, and the pattern carries up past the fold into the upper half of the phone, just below the external display. It’s a distinctive look, and if you liked the 2025 model’s aesthetic, you’ll feel right at home here. The big change this year is the colorway. Last year’s version came in a pale, wintry white that Motorola called “Ice Melt.” This year, the phone goes black. It’s a less flashy choice on paper, but honestly, dark crystals on a black base might actually look sharper in person.
The leaked renders also give a full 360-degree view of the hardware. The side-mounted power button and volume rocker are where you’d expect them, and there’s a USB-C port flanked by speaker grilles on the bottom edge. The external display is present, along with dual rear cameras. Nothing here screams major hardware redesign, which makes sense since this is a special edition, not a new base model.
What’s also interesting is what comes in the box. The leak points to a transparent protective case, a 33W charging adapter, and a USB-C cable included with the phone. That’s a solid package, especially the bundled charger, which isn’t something every phone maker bothers with anymore.
Motorola hasn’t officially said anything about this phone yet, and pricing is still unknown. But given that the 2025 Swarovski Edition launched at $999, don’t expect this one to go easy on your wallet. Special editions with fashion branding almost never do.
The bigger picture here is worth thinking about. Foldables are still trying to find their mainstream audience, and one strategy brands are using is turning these devices into style statements rather than just tech products. Motorola’s collab strategy, from pop stars to crystal brands, is a direct play for buyers who want their phone to say something about them. It may look like a gimmick to the spec-obsessed crowd, but if it moves units and keeps the Razr name relevant, Motorola will keep doing it. And honestly, a blacked-out crystal flip phone is at least more interesting than another gray rectangle.
