People have spoken and they want to play games on their TV with Ouya ending its Kickstarter campaign with $8,596,475 in pledges, which is like 9 times more than their goal of hitting $950,000.
As I’m writing this, the folks behind this promising project are not only speaking with manufacturers (which will make Ouya) but also with investors, and game developers and publishers. Sure enough most Android games can be played out of box, but in order to get the better experience some customization will be required. To that end the Ouya team is in talks with companies like Square Enix and Namco Bandai, which will games will be available through Ouya’s gaming service. Moreover, they will integrate with OnLive, the cloud-based video games provider, instantly providing gamers with a number of popular titles…
Can’t wait to test out the Ouya console, what about you? Are you looking forward to try it out? Or you prefer mobile gaming, instead?
