Sprint and Motorola have confirmed the launch of the Motorola Q 4G LTE. Not too long ago, The Now Network announced the Moto Q handset, but without any word to when the damn thing would officially launch and go for sale. Then rumors started to swirl about a potential August 19 launch thanks to some unnamed sources. Well, it turns out that those rumors were accurate. Now Sprint customers can expect to see the successor of the clunky Photon handset of last year.
The price of the Q is $199.99 on a two-year agreement, and the good thing is Sprint has already started accepting pre-orders on its website. Other noteworthy specs include LTE compatibility, a five-row QWERTY keyboard, 4.3-inch screen, 1.5 GHz processor, and 1GB of RAM. Lastly, great news for you hackers out there, as the Motorola Q 4G LTE will come with an unlocked bootloader out the box. Good move, Motorola!
