Good ol’ Google keeps improving its products and services. Their latest gig involves the Voice Search, which just got support for 13 new languages, including Basque, Bulgarian, Catalan, European Portuguese, Finnish, Galician, Hungarian, Icelandic, Norwegian, Romanian, Serbian, Slovak and Swedish. This brings the total language count to 42 languages and accents in 46 countries. Pretty impressive.
If your smartphone or tablet runs Android 2.2 (Froyo) or higher and you have the Google Search widget on your homescreen, you’re good to go. Simply tap the microphone icon and say the phrase in any of the supported languages. Otherwise, if you have an ancient device – you’ll have to download the app from the link below.
Bear in mind that you can only speak one language into the app at a time, and you may need to change your language settings to use one of new languages… Love how these guys are service its users…
