Like its processing fee of 2.75% per swipe isn’t low enough, Square is launching a special deal for small businesses processing up to $250,000 per year. Instead of paying certain amount per transaction, these companies can opt for the new $275 per month flat fee which again includes no additional fees and no need to sign a contract.

According to the company’s CEO and co-founder Jack Dorsey, this new offering will give merchants “affordable, predictable pricing” and the ability to know that the sales they’ve processed in a day is the same amount deposited in the bank…

Pretty neat though I guess we’ll see something similar unveiled by Square’s rivals like PayPal, Intuit, PayAnywere and iZettle. The more companies enter this market, the better it is for merchants and ultimately customers. Love it. ;)
