HTC: We'll keep using Beats Audio in our gear

You may’ve heard rumors that HTC is considering dumping Beats Audio as part of its cost-cutting measures so it can compete with other handset makers, namely Samsung and Apple. That, however, isn’t true with HTC issuing a statement that it will “let the Beat goes on.” Here’s what they said to Phandroid:

HTC remains strongly committed to Beats Audio and including their innovation in our devices. Any rumor of HTC no longer integrating Beats Audio into our devices is categorically false.

The way I see it, HTC must do something to get back the customers’ love but cutting down on audio technology is not the way forward. Quite the contrary, they should make their phones even better to get the attention of the geek community, who in turn will help the Taiwanese company spread the love throughout the Interwebs. Perhaps adding more RAM and faster CPU to the One X could be a part of the solution. It’s just me thinking out loud. 😉
