There are no doubts that all kinds of businesses can benefit from a sound mobile strategy. However, not everyone is ready for this revolution, as discovered by Web.com after surveying some 500 small business owners (with less than 100 employees).
Apparently, only 60% of those responding to the survey have a website, 26% have a mobile-friendly website, and only 14% have a stand-alone mobile website where layout is specifically designed for mobile phones. Of those 14%, 84% saw an increase in new business activity and 69% somewhat or strongly agree that “mobile marketing is key to their small business growth in the next 5 years.”
