The newly announced DROID RAZR M will be available in the UK with Intel’s CPU, rather than one made by Qualcomm (Snapdragon S4). The information comes from Pocket-lint which asked the Motorola spokesman whether the mid-end Android smartphone will be available in Britain. They’ve learned that it is coming, but with a different (Intel) processor inside. As far as we’ve understood, aside from the CPU change, there won’t be any other significant changes.

The new RAZR M will most likely be unveiled in Britain at Motorola’s event on September 18, when we also hope to learn when the rest of Europe will be able to get it.

Other specs include a 4.3-inch qHD AMOLED display with Advanced Gorilla Glass 2 and “almost no borders”, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of built-in storage, 8-megapixel rear camera, VGA front-facing one, NFC and so on. Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is running the show, with Jelly Bean update coming by the end of the year.
