Samsung has started rolling out new firmware for the original Galaxy Note, with users in Germany being amongst the first ones to get it. Available on Kies or over the air, it brings new TouchWiz UI, which is found on the Galaxy S III. Moreover, there are also additional tweaks to the interface that make the Note look like its successor, Note II. For instance, video is now resizable and there’s also support for S-Cloud.
The update is based on Android 4.0.4, meaning we should expect another one (with Jelly Bean) to be released by the end of the year. In the meantime, you can check for updates from Settings -> About phone. Even if you still don’t see it, don’t worry – it should be available pretty soon. 😉
