ARCHOS 97 Xenon joins the company’s low-end family of tablets

French ARCHOS prepared yet another tablet – ARHOS 97 Xenon. The entry-level device packs a 9.7-inch screen with 1024×768 resolution a la the original iPad and iPad 2. It gets its power from a single-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz, and there’s also 512MB of RAM, 2-megapixel rear camera, VGA front-facing one, Wi-Fi connectivity, while Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is running the show.

The new device is very similar to ARCHOS 97 Carbon, which is another tablet from the company’s Elements series. However, unlike Xenon, Carbon had a slower 1GHz processor but more RAM (1GB). It’s kinda hard to pick between these two…
