Nokia unveiled two new members of its Asha family – Asha 308 and 309, with former rocking two SIM card slots while the latter supporting Wi-Fi connectivity. Rest of the specs are identical and include a 3-inch capacitive touchscreen, 2-megapixel camera on the back, 800MHz processor, 20MB of built-in memory and a microSD expansion slot. Additionally, Nokia preloads it Opera Mini-like Xpress browser on the two phones, as well as WhatsApp IM client, Nokia Maps 2.0 and “40 free EA games for you to download and keep forever” — including Tetris, FIFA 2012, and The Need for Speed The Run.

The Asha 308 and 309 are Nokia’s most affordable capacitive touchscreen devices to date. The company estimates the retail price for the two new phones to be about $99, excluding taxes and subsidies, with shipping expected to start in Q4 2012…
