Samsung executive JK Shin confirmed that the company will use a press event in Germany on October 11 to introduce its new Galaxy S III mini. The 4-inch device was produced to meet demand in Europe for a smaller, but powerful Android handset. Soon after this report was published by iNews24 Korea, MobileGeeks leaked the unconfirmed specs for the device, which suggest it will target the entry-level user. The Galaxy S III mini is rumored to include a 4-inch Super AMOLED display with 800×480 resolution, a 1-GHz processor, 1GB of RAM and a 5-megapixel camera. It’ll possibly debut with a price tag of 399 Euros ($510). Additional details will be available tomorrow following Samsung’s launch event.
