Microsoft is going all out to promote its upcoming Windows 8 operating system with a $1 billion marketing campaign that’s kicking off this week. As noted by The Verge, the company aired the first commercial for its Surface tablets during the big Monday Night Football game shown on ESPN.

The ad is a typical slick marketing piece that focuses heavily on the tablet and its companion keyboard cover. There’s lots of clicking covers, dancing actors and some shots of the tablet. You can check out the advertisement below and let us know what you think in the comments.

cute commercial but believe it or not there may be some one who might want to know more
so they should have had a voice over say at the end of it “Surface it’s a Microsoft tablet go to Microsoft website for more info or to buy it online or at a Microsoft store” cute commercials that show the product and flash it’s name on a screen do not give enough info to sell a product.
