Verizon Wireless’ DROID Incredible 4G will soon get an important update, one that will pack several cool new features. Among the most important things software version 2.17.605.2 brings are global roaming across 220 countries and support for Isis Mobile Wallet (so you can make payments with your phone). In addition, users will also get Verizon’s Remote Diagnostics tool, improved LTE and Wi-Fi connectivity, support for Tango, as well as a number of usual bug fixes and improvements.
As far as we know, the 154MB-heavy update is still not available for download, but we’re sure it will be any day now. So when your DROID Incredible 4G prompts you to update (or if you manually check for updates), make sure you’re connected to a fast Wi-Fi network to finish the process as quickly as possible. And please let us know if you notice some other changes.
