Samsung is preparing another Android clamshell for China. The device marked as SCH-W2013 has been certified by the Chinese authorities, thanks to which we know all the specs. Speaking of which, this particular unit will come with two 3.3-inch WVGA AMOLED screens, 1.4Ghz dual- or quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, and a pair of cameras – 8MP on the back and 2MP on the front. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, microSD card slot and other “standard for Android” goodies also come included.
All said, we’re not sure why Samsung doesn’t push similar devices to the other parts of the world. I’m sure some folks living in the West would also like to have a clamshell-shaped smartphone. What do you think? Would you be interested in something like this?
