We’re some 6 weeks from the BlackBerry 10 launch and the company’s executives are running around getting us ready for what RIM’s CMO Frank Boulben claims will be the one of the greatest comebacks in tech history. He used that phrase in his interview with Forbes, adding that they’re in the midst of a soft marketing campaign, talking to influencers to show them “what the [BlackBerry 10] device is capable of.”

The most interesting part of the interview has everything to do with the app count. RIM has already shown off Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Foursquare apps, and we’ve learned that forthcoming BlackBerry device(s) will also feature Evernote integration. However, we didn’t know that the new platform will launch with more than 70,000 apps! You got that right – that’s over seventy thousand mobile applications which is a pretty impressive figure that gotta count for something. And we’re impressed, we’re not sure that’s enough to bring users back to BlackBerry. We’ll see…

I don’t mean to cause trouble (Reddit slaughters anyone who makes mistakes like this), but in the title you say “70,00 apps”. Later in the article you do clarify 700,000. If it’s not too late to change the title…?
