ZTE officially announced its first 1080P handset, the Nubia Z5, on Wednesday. Not surprisingly, the Nubia Z5 is a high-end handset with specs the rival the Droid DNA and the Oppo Find 5.
The Nubia Z5 will sport a 5-inch, 1080P display, a 1.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of on board storage and a 3,000 mAh battery. The phone leads the way with a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera and 2-megapixel front-facing camera. Connectivity options include WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, NFC, and Bluetooth 4.0.
The Nubia Z5 will sell for 3,456 yuan ($555 USD) and will go on sale in January 2013. A more expensive titanium version will retail for 7,890 yuan ($1265).
