BlueStacks is known for its innovative app player that lets you run Android apps on a desktop computer. Earlier this year, the company launched a beta Mac player that let you use a handful of popular Android apps. Starting today, the updated version of this player now supports 750,000 titles from the Android platform.

Bluestacks will continue to develop its app players and  is looking to app discovery space for its next innovation. The company has some big name investors like Andreessen Horowitz  and an experienced executive team. It also has partnered with companies such as AMD, Qualcomm, Asus and app developers like HalfBrick and Evernote.  Trying to separate the wheat from the chaff in any app store is a daunting task, but one that Bluestacks just might have the chops to solve.
