Microsoft rolled out an update for its Windows Phone version of Skype and disabled a key feature of the app.

According to a blog post, the latest version of Skype removes People Hub integration which lets you view a contact’s Skype information along with their addresses, email and other personal and social information.

The company removed this  feature because “it was causing issues with device stability.” The Skype team said it is working with the Windows Phone to team to iron out the problems and will bring back the feature in a future update.

The update fixes some bugs and adds features like an updated chat keyboard with improved autocomplete and autocorrect, integration of Windows Live Messenger buddies into the People list and new notification options for Windows Live Messenger users. You can view all the details on Skype’s website and download the update from the Windows Phone Marketplace.
