We’ve told you that Samsung has started rolling out updates to address the Exynos security vulnerabilities. These fixes have now reached the U.S. with Sprint and T-Mobile rolling out small updates for the Epic 4G Touch and Galaxy Note II, respectively.

Aside from fixing the “Exynos issue,” the update Sprint Epic 4G Touch users will get also includes Sprint Connections Optimizer as part of the software version S:D710.10S.FL24. It will be rolling out over the next 30 days so don’t panic if you don’t see it just yet.

T-Mobile’s Galaxy Note II got T889UVALL4 update that also includes “various bug fixes” which we hope will make the device even more stable (though we can’t really be sure what’s included). In any case, you should “push the button” the second your phablet informs you about the new software version waiting for download. Good luck. 😉
