A rather blurry but exciting image has leaked today, showing us the newest device in Samsung’s arsenal of tablets. Thanks to the fine people over at PhoneArena, new pictures of the alleged Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 have surfaced on the internet, showing us that Samsung is showing no signs of slowing down. There’s no doubt that the tablet wars have heated up over the last year, and Samsung is testing the waters by releasing Android devices in a variety of sizes, specs and price points, seemingly trying to find the “Goldilocks Zone” in the tablet market. That, or just sell a lot of devices.
Rumors of the Galaxy Tab 3 have been flying around for a few weeks now, which claim that the Galaxy Tab 3 will come in two different sizes, 7″ and 10″. It’s been said that the 7″ unit might not make it to the market, due to retail considerations. Specs and price points are blurrier than the above picture, but we can surly expect something at least a little more powerful than the Galaxy Tab 2, and the Note 8.0. The picture doesn’t show the exact model number, but it seems to start with GT-P, which is a common numbering scheme for most Samsung tablets.
It’s all still rumor, but it is expected that Samsung will announce the Galaxy Tab 3 at the Mobile World Congress in Spain next month, along with other recently rumored tablets.
