We’ve told you that Pantech is working on a phablet of its own and voila – the Vega No. 6 is now officially official, ready to compete with the likes of Samsung Galaxy Note II and soon-to-be-released Huawei Ascend Mate. The device obviously comes with an “almost 6-inch screen” (5.9-inch to be more precise) with full HD (1920×1080 pixels) resolution. In addition, it also has 2GB of RAM, 13-megapixel rear camera, Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core processor, solid 3,140 mAh battery and so on.
It is said that Pantech will ask 850,000 won for the Vega No. 6 which is less than what Galaxy S III currently costs in Korea (more than 1 million won). No word whether this baby will ever make it to the western hemisphere; we know that Pantech has good relations with few U.S. carriers but that doesn’t mean a thing. We’ll keep our fingers cross just in case…
