U.S. Cellular is adding the rugged Kyocera DuraPro to its portfolio. The MilSpec 810G certified – it is water, shock, dust and vibration resistant device that can be immersed for up to 30 minutes in one meter of water. Moreover, this clamshell shaped phone rocks a non-slip Dura-Grip material for a “strong hold and extra durability.”
As for the rest of specs, there’s a 3.2-megapixel camera, large keypad, powerful speakerphone, and a programmable hot key on the side of the phone that can be assigned for quick access to the calendar, Bluetooth, alarm or web.
In other words and as the carrier’s Edward Perez would say it, the DuraPro is ideal device for “those who work and play outdoors in varying weather and climates.”
U.S. Cellular has already started selling the Kyocera DuraPro online and will offer it in stores starting from tomorrow. It costs $99.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate…
