Google just made life a little easier for iOS YouTube users who love watching cute cat videos on the big screen. Google today released an update for its iOS YouTube app that adds the “Send to Tv” feature, which allows users to pair their iOS devices with certain smart TVs and set-top devices with the push of a button. After pairing, the content will be played on the TV, and the device can be used as a remote control.

The “Send to Tv” feature has been available for Android users since last November, and works with any Google TV enabled device. The function also works on the PS3 and Xbox, which requires a manual pairing scheme. Google also added a few features for multiple users as well, allowing anyone on the same wireless network to control video playback and add videos to a playlist.

Also included in the update is integrated support for YouTube Capture, a separate app that allows iOS app users the ability to record and upload video directly to their YouTube account. The update is also promising improved streaming over slow Wi-Fi connections, and some stability improvements.
