There’s a chance that we’ll see
RIM BlackBerry joining the market of big-screen devices by the end of this year. This rumor originates from Jefferies’ Peter Misek who speculates that the Canadian company is working on a 5-inch device that will be unveiled later in the year.
This isn’t the first time we’re talking about BlackBerry’s upcoming products; earlier we’ve heard that the company will launch two additional phones later in the year, including the U10 and R10, the first of which will be an all-touchscreen device (with a bigger screen?) while the latter will have a “traditional BlackBerry design” with full QWERTY keyboard.
Misek also said that BlackBerry Z10 orders in Asia have increased from 2M to 2M+ units per month, though we’re not sure whether that “plus” means 100,000 or half a million units.
Again, it’s good to see BlackBerry getting back to the game. Soon we’ll get our Z10 review unit and will get back to you with more details about it. Stay tuned…
