Well look what we have here. The very popular Google Fiber service just released a mobile app for the iPad. The arrival of this remote app may have taken some time to hit Apple’s mobile operating system, but it’s finally here. Unfortunately, the app is restricted to those who own an iPad.
The new app does everything the Jelly Bean version does such as change channels, schedule recordings and start-up on-demand programming. Google Fiber for iPad is now available in iTunes, though, it can only be used by people in the limited Fiber coverage areas.
Anyone out there privileged to use Google Fiber? Let us know if you’ve been able to test the app.
