The second generation Microsoft Surface tablet will dawn the stage at BUILD Developer Conference on June 26th, according to Digitimes. Although it’s a rumor, it would make perfect sense considering how it’s around the time the Redmond company is due to come out with the next iteration of the Surface tablet. Not to mention Microsoft is still playing catch up with Google and Apple’s offerings.
There has been rumors floating around of a 7-inch Windows 8 slate for the past few weeks now. Maybe Microsoft will elect to hold off announcing the new Surface RT, and decide to unveil the 7-inch version of the first generation tablet at BUILD instead.
Who knows, this is way we always say take every rumor as they are: rumors.
