Mad Catz will introduce an Android based gaming console at E3 next week, according to a report from Laptop. The “micro-gaming console” called Project M.O.J.O. will be a small console that functions with Mad Catz peripherals such as keyboards, GameSmart controls and mice. The “micro-console” will plug directly into a user’s television, and will most likely be running on a NVIDIA Tegra 4 processor. Mad Catz is not planning on providing games and content for the console, instead focusing on the hardware of the device. Project M.O.J.O. will likely provide users with access to NVIDIA’s Tegra Zone gaming portal, which offers a plethora of games that are already well established and popular.

Android gaming consoles are becoming quite the rage, with a few other devices expected to pop up at E3. NVIDIA’s Shield will make an appearance, as well as the Ouya Android gaming console.
