Sprint adds LTE coverage to 22 new US cities

Sprint announced today that it is rolling out LTE to 22 new cities in the US, including a few popular vacation destinations such as Miami, Florida and Napa, California. The full list includes:

Baton Rouge, La.; Centralia, Wash.; Clarksville, Tenn.; Corsicana, Texas; Dalton, Ga.; Dunn, N.C.; Fond du Lac, Wis.; Gainesville, Fla.; Henderson, N.C.; Kingsport, Tenn.; Lansing/East Lansing, Mich.; Longview, Wash.; Miami, Fla.; Napa, Calif.; New Orleans, La.; Palatka, Fla.; Raleigh, N.C.; Sebring, Fla.; St. Cloud, Minn.; St. Joseph/Benton Harbor, Mich.; Tampa, Fla. and Warsaw, Ind.

With these new cities added to their LTE network, Sprint now blankets 110 markets nationwide with its 4G service. The company also confirmed it will provide LTE to 200 million people by the end of the year.

    still no phoenix LTE sprint. WTF. I was told by you it would be 1st quarter 2013 in 2011. Now it looks like 2014. Not cool. Tmobile, ATT and Verizon all have it. Not cool.

    Its great Fond du Lac, Wis has LTE now. I was concerened. Good thing they put phoenix on the back burner for Fond du Lac, Wis. Pop 44K. Out of 44K I wonder how many LTE customers they were able to service.

    Sprint has been lying about LTE for over a year. Believe it when you see it. Any idiot can put out a press release. Doesn’t mean you have to print it.

    no LTE in 90% of NYC and almost all of NJ is beyond ridiculously. Been paying a extra yr of service without LTE as promised. Beyond believe and still coming out this fake news.
