You may think that the virtual keyboard you’re using is good enough but there’s always room for improvements. Take the upcoming Dynamic Keyboard as an example. Using intelligent word prediction, it will dynamically change the size of keys. What this means is that the keyboard changes the layout all the time, helping you tap the right key.
Users will be able to set a number of different aspects of the keyboard, change themes and languages. Plus, the application won’t be looking at your personal data (like some other keyboards do) to learn your patterns. I guess privacy advocates will like this.
Until Dynamic Keyboard is out I’ll keep using the rock-solid SwiftKey, which I still consider the best virtual keyboard on the planet. I’m eager to try out something new but it gotta be super-awesome to make me change my “SwiftKey habits.” Here’s the demo video while we wait for the Dynamic Keyboard’s release…
