BLU Products unveiled another member of its rapidly growing family of devices. Their latest addition is truly impressive, offering top-end specs for just $349. And yes, we’re talking about an unlocked smartphone here, and you won’t have to commit on any long-term contracts with it.

The newly announced BLU Life Pure packs a 5-inch full HD screen, MediaTek’s 1.5GHz quad-core chip, 2GB of RAM, 13-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front cameras, and full 32GB of internal storage. On the downside though, it lacks LTE connectivity support and runs Android 4.2 out of box, though further software updates are in the pipeline.

Yeah, we love the increased competition, and how it pushes the prices down. We would also like to see BLU (and other smaller vendors for that matter) adopting chips made by Qualcomm or NVIDIA but I guess that would increase the price of their products…
