Sony’s QX10 and QX100 lens-style cameras appealed to many but not every Sony device works with them, namely the big Xperia Z Ultra. This phablet has been left out because it was too big for the case carrying these two cameras.
The Japanese firm acknowledged the problem and has launched a special case for the Xperia Z Ultra that can take any QX camera. The handy accessory has been announced in Hong Kong where users will be able to buy one for HK$238, which is the amount that translates into roughly $31.
No word when this case will hit the Western hemisphere, but we would be surprised if it isn’t shown on display at CES in Las Vegas. Hopefully at that time we’ll also get other details like availability information and pricing in the U.S. and Europe. Stay tuned as we bring you more…
