OnePlus, the spin-off from Oppo, is getting ready to announce its very first smartphone later this week.
According to a forum administrator and staff member at OnePlus’ website, the company has been “hard at work” on its flagship phone. The message goes on to invite everyone for a big announcement later this week.
It’s unclear whether OnePlus will have a booth at CES in Las Vegas or will just use the media attention to launch its product from the other part of the globe (China). In any case, we expect to see one awesome device announced.
At its website, OnePlus says that we too often make compromises and tradeoffs. We also too often settle for something “good enough,” so their slogan is “never settle,” hinting us they want to offer a device that packs top-end specs under the hood. It’s not an easy task but somehow we think these guys have what it takes to do just that. We’ll be impatiently waiting in the meantime. 😉
