After many rumors and leaked photos, we’ll finally see the Huawei announcing the Ascend P7 on May 7th. The event will take place in Paris, France, hinting us that outside China, Huawei expects to sell a ton of these in Europe.

From what we’ve heard before, the P7 will build on top of the last-year’s Ascend P6 model, adding a better camera, bigger screen and faster processor to the mix. It is said that Huawei’s baby will keep the metal body and include specs like a 5-inch full HD display, 13-megapixel rear camera, 8-megapixel front-facing camera, 2GB of RAM, Huawei’s own quad-core processor clocked at 1.6GHz, 2,460 mAh battery and 16GB of internal storage. Chances are Huawei will ask no more than 400 EUR (or less) for the unlocked unit; while those looking to buy the phone with a contract will most likely be able to get it for free with a two-year term.
