Looks like ZTE is preparing to embrace Samsung’s “mini strategy” for its newly unveiled Nubia X6 with such a device (Nubia X6 mini) being leaked on Weibo, which for those of you who don’t know is China’s “version” of Twitter.
Considering how big the regular Nubia X6 is, we’re not surprised that its mini variant will have a 5.2-inch 1080p full HD screen. Rest of the specs will apparently include 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 quad-core chip, 13-megapixel camera on the back and LTE connectivity support. Android 4.4 KitKat will run the show with ZTE’s own Nubia UI singing on top
Once released, the Nubia X6 mini will reportedly sell for 3,299 RMB ($529), which is a lot of money. Then again, this will be ZTE’s flagship device so we guess that’s kinda fair.
Anyhow, we’ve no idea when/whether the regular Nubia X6 will hit the Western hemisphere, let alone its mini version. We’ll let you know if we have something new to add here…
