It’s only natural that you’ll want to browse web pages on your wrist, right? No it isn’t. However, that doesn’t stop Opera Software from conquering yet another platform.

So they announced the data-friendly Opera Mini for Samsung’s Gear S smart watch, which as you know, comes with its own data connectivity. So yes, this means you’ll be able to browse sites while on the go without having to look at your phone. And to make for a more finger-friendly experience, favorite websites will be quickly accessible from Opera Mini’s Speed Dial shortcuts as large buttons. Plus, if you don’t want to leave the trace behind, you can turn on private browsing and let loose, or whatever.

Web browsing aside, there’s also the Smart Page feature providing users with their social updates and latest news on a single screen.

Like any other Opera Mini version, this one will also be available as a free download. Users will be able to get it on the same day when Gear S starts shipping.

Finally, it’s worth adding that Android Wear also has its own web browser, though watches using this platform require smartphones to connect to the Internet.
