Third party application brings MyLocation feature on Google Maps to GSM Treos

MyLocation feature on Google Maps to GSM TreosThanks to the Palm OS developer named Razix, owners of the older GSM-based Treo devices (Treo 600, 650 and 680) can now use the pseudo-GPS MyLocation feature on Google Maps. Apart from requiring one of the mentioned Treo devices, the software also demands that the current version of Google Maps (ver: 1.2.0.9) is installed on the smartphone.

The application is free to download, but the developer does accept donations. So if you happen to find it useful — and if you’re travelling often, you certainly will — we strongly encourage you to drop him few bucks for his effort.
