Playboy Games: Pool PartyTHQ Wireless has announced that it has signed a worldwide agreement with Playboy Enterprises, Inc. to exclusively develop Playboy-branded mobile games. The multi-year Playboy agreement covers the development and publishing rights to multiple Playboy-branded, lifestyle themed, non-nude mobile games featuring “bikini-clad Playmates to be released worldwide.”

The first title, Playboy Games: Pool Party –scheduled to launch in summer 2008 — will include a set of mini-games and will find you competing in such “pool party sports” as water balloon fights, waterslide slaloms and aquatic mechanical bull riding at the famous Playboy Mansion.

Commenting on the announcement, one of the IntoMobile editors Dusan Belic said, “I’m glad to see THQ developing Playboy-branded games though I would like to see them releasing the first title tomorrow. Who can wait for the summer?” He also added, “The ‘non-nude’ idea is kinda strange choice. I’m not sure everyone will like it.” 🙂
