O2 Xda Orbit 2Back in November, we reported O2 is launching the HTC Touch Cruise as the O2 Xda Orbit 2. In case you haven’t figured out from the currencies used in the article, at that point the carrier was unveiling the device in continental Europe, most notably Germany. And now O2’s British arm is following the suit by launching the same device. Guess they wanted to focus on the iPhone launch first, and then later go on with more devices…

Anyway, in case you’re still not aware what HTC’s smartphone has to offer, I’ll only briefly recap the specs – there’s the HSDPA support, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, WiFi, GPS, 3 MP camera, microSD slot, Windows Mobile 6, and more.

Business customers can grab the O2 Xda Orbit 2 from free, and/or get an additional handset from £99.99. An offer for consumers is also coming very soon…
