Upon having your mobile device getting lost or stolen, a quick trip to YouGetItBack’s website will render the phone unusable (except to make calls to YouGetItBack’s call center) and display a homescreen wallpaper plastered with the sign “YouGetItBack.com.” The mobile device-based software “also provides a denial of service, remote delete, data backup and recovery, and guaranteed replacement functions.” The finder of the phone will even get a small reward for returning the phone – a nice little way to motivate a speedy return.
