ALK Technologies has announced that a free 15-day trial version of its navigation system, CoPilot Live HD, will be pre-installed on the HTC Touch Diamond2. As far as we understood, this deal was made for the UK market, as ALK talks about UK/Ireland maps for the trial version. After the 15 day ends, users will be able to purchase any single region map for 45 GBP (49 EUR).
As for the app itself, the CoPilot Live HD is optimized to sing along Touch Diamond2’s 3.2-inch WVGA touchscreen, and can work in both portrait and landscape mode.
Along with turn-by-turn navigation and voice guidance, the application also boasts safety camera alerts, as well as real-time traffic subscription and live tracking service.
