Scalado

If you’ve been following IntoMobile closely, you’ll know that we covered Scalado for few times in the past. They pride themselves with imaging solutions that make mobile phones better handle large photos. When you have 5, 8 or 12 megapixel phones, the problem is how to show/render these large images on the screen with a limited processing power. And Scalado’s tech is there to help. I believe Sony Ericsson is using Scalado’s software for this purpose, though I’m not sure. They are aslo member of varios mobile platform ecosystems such as Symbian, where they offer their technology to the other member companies.

But that’s not all. Scalado’s offering also include support for panorama photos and related photo-taking and image-processing technologies… To find out more about Scalado check out their website.
