Samsung moves 100,000 Galaxies in Europe in a month

Korean website Hanooki.com reports (English translation link) that Samsung has sold 100,000 units of its Android-powered Galaxy smartphone in Europe within a month after the launch. The figure may be far behind Apple’s numbers, but it’s important to realize we’re talking about a single Android phone, only. To be fair, I’m sure that the number of all Android-powered smartphones sold combined can’t come close to what Apple has sold, but it’s still a respectable figure for the fresh platform like Android. We’re eager to see how all this will play out for Google’s mobile OS, and considering the Korean giant has another Android smartphone in the pipeline (I5700 aka Galaxy Lite), we’re starting to believe all those reports that suggest Android will become a dominant mobile platform in the future. We’ll see…
