JotNot iPhone app comes with Evernote integration

JotNot iPhone app

Boy how I love Evernote. If you still haven’t tried it – you should! It is — and I can’t emphasize this enough — the best note taking tool out there. That said, I’m glad to see other companies realizing that, and integrating some of Evernote’s functionality into their own apps and services.

In that sense, I’ve recently caught a press release from the company called MobiTech 3000, which announced Evernote integration into their document scanning application – JotNot.

Wondering what’s JotNot? Here’s an excerpt from the press release:

JotNot processes pictures of documents, receipts, whiteboards, blackboards, and handwritten notes, making them easier to read, print, and share with others. JotNot’s advanced image processing corrects keystoning and improves legibility. JotNot can export processed images as PDFs, PNGs, or JPEGs.

Now, with the integration with Evernote, JotNot users will get the “full benefit of Evernote’s character and handwriting recognition applied to their scanned images.” This means that images processed with JotNot can be pushed to Evernote, where they are stored and indexed, making them easy to search and retrieve afterwards.

Finally – the pricing. JotNot could be yours for 5 bucks ($4.99) from the AppStore, and a free lite version is also available.
