Qik has recently released an updated version (v4.21) of its Windows Mobile client, specially tailored towards touchscreen-equipped devices. The single most important change is in the user interface, which now looks way much better and is more context-aware — depending whether you’re in the viewfinder mode or recording, you’ll see different icons.
Moreover, the updated Qik comes with improved sharing options for social networks like Facebook, Twitter and YouTube; offers better performance and more frames per second; and an easier way to upload existing videos from your phone to your Qik account…
To sum things up, if you have a Windows Mobile touchscreen-equipped smartphone, you should definitely grab the latest version of Qik. The application remains free, hence there’s no reason not to do it. 😉
